A server panel for web agencies and the clients they host.
An agency hosts sites for people who will never open a terminal. RespireCloud gives each client an account of their own, gives your staff scoped access, and shows each change before it happens so a junior can work safely. It is in early access.
Clients and staff, each in their place.
-
A hosting account per client
Its own Linux user, PHP-FPM pool and resource slice. One client's runaway script does not take the others down.
-
Team access with an expiry
An account owner invites sub-users scoped to chosen resources, with an expiry. A freelancer sees one site for a month, and then the access ends.
-
Act as the client, on the record
Open a client's view with a reason. A banner shows it, it has a time limit, and it is in the audit trail. Passwords and passkeys cannot be changed while acting as someone else.
-
Plans per client type
A small plan for a brochure site and a bigger one for a shop, with limits enforced by every module.
Everyday work without a terminal.
-
Ask in plain words
The assistant turns a request into a plan you approve. Nothing runs until a person approves it, and risky plans need a passkey.
-
A guide for beginners
A guide walks a new person through their first steps in the panel.
-
Git deploys with rollback
Deploy an app from a repository, keep its workers and cron jobs, and go back to an earlier release when one goes wrong.
-
Backups you can restore
Per account encrypted repositories. A database restore goes to a new database by default, so the live one is never overwritten by accident. A whole server was rebuilt from its backup in a lab run.
-
The phone app
The panel on your phone in every edition, with a biometric lock.

-
WordPress toolkit
Staging, cloning and updates for WordPress are not built. WordPress runs as a PHP site or as a container, like any other app.
-
No price yet
Prices are not set. A licence counts hosting accounts, resellers, servers and CDN edges, and there is a free 14 day trial. See the pricing page for what is decided.
-
A public release
RespireCloud is in early access. There is no public download, the production signing keys are not made and prices are not set. One install has run on a real server; everything else ran in our lab.
-
Proof on real backups
The importers have run end to end only on archives we built to match each format. A backup taken from a production server has not been imported yet, so expect differences.
-
A second web server
Sites are served by nginx. Apache .htaccess rules, PHP ini overrides and redirects are not translated by the importer: a site that depends on them needs its rules rewritten.
-
Recovery to a moment
A database restore goes back to the time of a scheduled dump. Recovery to a chosen moment between backups is not built. The database tool (Adminer) is built; it covers MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL on the server itself.
-
An independent security test
An external penetration test has not started.
Questions
- Can my clients log in themselves?
- Yes. A customer signs in to their own account with a passkey, a password with a second factor, or single sign on, and sees only their own sites, mail and databases.
- Can I give a freelancer limited access?
- Yes. Team access is scoped to chosen resources and has an expiry. A deny on one site, domain, mailbox, database or folder wins everywhere.
- Is there staging for WordPress?
- Not as a built in tool yet. It is listed as not built on the hosting feature page.
- Where do the backups go?
- To any storage you connect: a local path, the built in S3 compatible store or any S3 or rclone target.
