A control panel for hosting providers, priced per server.
You sell hosting and the panel is part of what your customers buy. Here is what a provider asks before adding one: what it costs at your size, how it connects to your billing, how customers move in, and what happens if our licence service is unreachable.
Pricing per server, not per account.
The prices below come from the pricing page, in US dollars.
-
Flat per server
Pro is $29 a month per server for 100 hosting accounts and 3 resellers. Host is $69 a month for unlimited accounts and resellers on 3 servers. Cluster starts at $149 a month for unlimited servers.
-
No fee per account
The price does not grow with the number of customers on a server, and it does not rise every year: the price you start at is the price you renew at.
-
A worked comparison
cPanel Premier lists $69.99 a month for 100 accounts (as of October 2026, on the vendor's own page). Pro covers the same 100 accounts for $29. Other tiers and fees per account differ by vendor, so check the vendor's page for your own count.
-
A free licence to try
The Free edition is the whole base product for one server with 1 account, 3 sites and 5 mailboxes. Use it to test before you commit.
What you can sell with it.
-
Billing modules
Account modules for WHMCS, Blesta and HostBill are available as checksummed downloads, with single sign-on links into the panel. A licence module for WHMCS, Blesta and HostBill, to sell RespireCloud licences from your own billing system, is being built and is not available yet.
-
White label
A reseller's own brand, panel host name and email templates. It is an add-on at $15 a month; your own default brand works in every edition.
-
Resellers and plans
Administrator, reseller, customer and sub-user levels. Plans carry limits that are enforced as accounts are created, so a plan is a product you can price.
-
Every customer apart
Each hosting account is its own Linux user with its own resource slice and PHP pool, in every edition. The security page says what was audited and what was not.
Moving customers in, and setting up servers.
-
Import from cPanel and Plesk
Import from backups with a dry run and a full rollback, free in every edition. DirectAdmin, HestiaCP and FastPanel backups work too, but are tested on sample files only, so the migration page says to check them by hand.
-
Nothing switches until DNS does
Customers keep running on the old server while you check the copy. Read the migration page for what carries over and what does not.
-
Install on any cloud
Put RespireCloud on a server at the cloud you already use. The cloud images page, linked below, has the images.
Partner programme terms.
These are the current defaults. The partners page is the place to read them in full.
-
Wholesale licences
Buy licences at a discount off list and issue them to your customers from a partner portal or the partner API. The discount by volume: 1 to 9 licences, 0%; 10 to 24 licences, 15%; 25 to 99 licences, 25%; 100 or more licences, 35%.
-
Your customers stay yours
One monthly statement, your own brand if you add white label, and your own invoices to your customers.
-
A licence problem never stops sites
If the licence service cannot be reached, the panel keeps working for 14 days, and after that sites, mail and DNS still run. The answer in full is below.
What RespireCloud does not have yet.
Read this before you plan.
-
Licence module not yet
Selling RespireCloud licences from WHMCS, Blesta or HostBill is being built. Until it ships, partner licences are issued in the partner portal or the partner API.
-
No cPanel ecosystem
Tools from the cPanel world such as CloudLinux, Imunify or Softaculous are not part of RespireCloud, and RespireCloud has not been installed or tested on CloudLinux.
-
No independent penetration test yet
A security and code audit was made on 19 October 2026; the security page says what state its findings are in. An external penetration test has not started.
-
A long track record
RespireCloud has been public since 27 October 2026. It runs our own servers and installs cleanly on fresh ones, but it has little history on customers' production servers yet.
-
Proof on real backups
The importers have run end to end only on archives we built to match each format. A backup taken from a production server has not been imported yet, so expect differences.
-
A second web server
Sites are served by nginx. Apache .htaccess rules, PHP ini overrides and redirects are not translated by the importer: a site that depends on them needs its rules rewritten.
-
Recovery to a moment
A database restore goes back to the time of a scheduled dump. Recovery to a chosen moment between backups is not built. The database tool (Adminer) is built; it covers MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL on the server itself.
Questions
- What happens if the RespireCloud licence service is unreachable?
- The panel verifies the signed licence on the server without the network. If the daily check-in cannot reach the service, the licence keeps full function for a 14 day grace period and a banner shows the administrator the days left. After that the panel goes into degraded mode: hosted sites, mail, DNS, databases and running containers keep running. What stops is creating new accounts, nodes and modules, installing or upgrading modules and the paid add-on features. Admin sign-in, backups, restores and the licence screens keep working so you can fix it.
- Can a forged reply from the network switch my panel off?
- No. The panel requires a valid signature on the licence service's replies, so a forged reply cannot degrade it.
- Can I keep WHMCS, Blesta or HostBill?
- Yes for the accounts side: modules for all three create and manage hosting accounts. A licence module that sells RespireCloud licences from those systems is being built and is not available yet.
- How do I apply as a partner?
- Use the Apply as a partner button, which goes to the partners page and its form. Programme terms are current defaults and can differ per partner.
- How do I report a vulnerability?
- Email info@respiresoft.com with the subject RespireCloud security report. The security page and security.txt on this site have the policy.
